Today the port of Piombino is used for the transport of goods, but also for tourism purposes. In fact, from here the ferries of the main shipping lines depart for the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago (the Island of Elba is located only 10km from the coast!), As well as those directed to Sardinia and Corsica. Piombino is an important reference for its port, but it would be a real shame to know it only for this aspect. The center, rather intimate, can be visited very well on foot.
